BASIC FUNCTION: Under supervision of Program Director or designee, provides significant professional
and technical support to administer, organize, review, plan, develop, and ensure effectiveness of
fieldwork/clinical experiences for students. Ensure compliance of students’ fieldwork/clinical experience
as set forth by the appropriate accreditation agency.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Duties/essential functions may include, but not be
limited to, the following:
 Coordinate student fieldwork/clinical experiences; ensure policies and guidelines are followed.
 Coordinate facilities used by students:
- Visit and evaluate fieldwork/clinical sites, train fieldwork/clinical educators, recruit new
fieldwork/clinical sites reflective of program’s curriculum design.
- Assign students to fieldwork/clinical sites; discuss student progress with fieldwork/clinical
educators.
 Evaluate fieldwork/clinical experiences, including effectiveness of student supervision and quality of
fieldwork/clinical site, and make recommendations for changes as needed.
 May inventory and order supplies; maintain efficient use of resources.
 Prepare and/or develop program/course materials; distribute materials to appropriate parties.
 Provide ongoing communication and positive rapport with students and fieldwork/clinical sites in
preparation for and throughout fieldwork/clinical.
 Prepare and maintain required program documentation and records.
 Provide ongoing communication with Program Director.
 Coordinate meetings, conferences, or special activities as assigned.
 Collaborate with faculty members to ensure integration of fieldwork/clinical with didactic coursework
and curriculum design.
 Complete site visits during fieldwork/clinical rotations to assess students’ performance.
 Secure signed clinical agreements.
 May supervise, instruct and evaluate students on campus.
 May teach courses as assigned.
 Perform related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree. Four years of experience relevant experience to include a minimum of two years clinical
experience.
License/Certification: Relevant certificate/licensure.
Desirable Qualifications: Master’s degree in relevant area; teaching experience.

Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force
frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent must be able to
teach and evaluate students’ psychomotor skills in a lab setting. Incumbent may be required to travel from
building to building frequently and off campus frequently.
