Drive to Biertan and visit of the most important fortified church in Transylvania (of the early 16th century). It was the seat of the evangelical bishop of Transylvania from 1572 to 1867. Arrival in Sighisoara, where Prince Vlad the Impaler was born. Sighisoara is the best preserved medieval inhabited town in Europe. After the arrival of the Saxon colonists, it became an important handicraftsmen’s centre. You’ll walk in the narrow streets and admire the houses painted in different colours. The emblem of the town is the Clock Tower. Visit of the church on the hill, of the Clock Tower and of the house where Dracula was born. After a 30 km long journey through Bicaz Gorges, past the East Carpathians near the Red Lake area ,well visit Agapia and Varatec Monasteries nearby Piatra Neamt and well arrive Campulung Moldovenesc/Gura Humorului. On the way to the famous Moldavia monasterys, you’ll see miraculous sceneries: dreamy valleys, dark woods.
