Day 1: Bucharest
Arrival on the international airport of Bucharest. Meet your guide and transfer. Dinner and
accomodation in Bucharest.Hotel 3*
Day 2: Bucharest – Pitesti – Curtea de Arges –Cozia-Horezu-Sibiu (320km)
Breakfast Sightseeing tour of Bucharest city centre, a perfect occasion to enjoy the dynamic life
of our capital: Visit of the Princely court, the Pariarchal Churches and the Village Museum
Departure to Curtea de Arges, for a visit to the legendary Bishop Church built by Manole where
the Romanian Kings and Queens are buried.On our way to Sibiu well visit also Horezu
Monastery and well make a stop also to Cozia Moanastery Dinner and accommodation in Sibiu in
Hotel 3*
Day 3 Sibiu – Paltinis – Sibiel – Sibiu (100 km)
Breakfast.After breakfast, visit of the Brukenthal Museum, the oldest museum in Romania,
opened in 1817- the building has an Austrian baroque style and belonged to the governor of
Transylvania – the baron Samuel von Brukenthal. Next stop at the open air Astra Museum
displaying wind mills and different typical peasant houses. Short walking tour in the Dumbrava
Woods and visit of the little Zoo. Drive to Paltinis, a charming mountain resort. There is a little
monastery with a wooden church. During the coffee break, you can enjoy the peaceful
atmosphere and fresh air of the surrounding mountains. Afternoon drive to Sibiel and visit of the
most important collection of glass painted icons. Typical dinner in a farmer’s house. Dinner and

Day 4: Sibiu – Biertan – Sighisoara – Sibiu ( 190 km )
Breakfast. Drive to Biertan and visit of the most important fortified church in Transylvania (of the
early 16th century). It was the seat of the evangelical bishop of Transylvania from 1572 to 1867.
Arrival in Sighisoara, where Prince Vlad the Impaler was born. Sighisoara is the best preserved
medieval inhabited town in Europe. After the arrival of the Saxon colonists, it became an
important handicraftsmen’s centre. You’ll walk in the narrow streets and admire the houses
painted in different colours. The emblem of the town is the Clock Tower. Visit of the church on
the hill, of the Clock Tower and of the house where Dracula was born. Dinner and

Day 5 Sibiu- - Bicaz Gorge-Piatra Neamt -Monasteries –Suceava Area( 390 km )
Breakfast. After a 30 km long journey through Bicaz Gorges, past the East Carpathians near the
Red Lake area ,well visit Agapia and Varatec Monasteries nearby Piatra Neamt and well arrive
Campulung Moldovenesc/Gura Humorului. On the way to the famous Moldavia monasterys,
you’ll see miraculous sceneries: dreamy valleys, dark woods. You will first visit the monasterys
of Moldovita, Sucevita and of course Voronet is the first of the monasteries by her outer
wall paitings which are world-wide known. The out wall painting of the monastery
of Sucevita includes scenes from the Bible and Romanian history.In the late afternoon well visit
also Putna Monastery of the journey leads you to Putna where you will visit it’s monastery.

Day 6-Cimpulung Moldovenesc-Monasteries Area-Iasi-Piatra Neamt. ( 220 km )
Breakfast. From Cimpulung we will go further to Iasi and on the way we will visit the
monasterys Bogdana, Dragomina, Rasca, Probota, Cioranesti, Marginea.On our arrival in Iasi, the
former capital of the Moldaviens, you can make a short stop for shopping or visiting
the TownChurch “Trei Ierarhi”. Arrival in Iasi Dinner and Overnight stay 3*Hotel
Day 7-Iasi- Buzau- - Brasov - Bran - Brasov ( 290 km )
After breakfast,we will drive to Brasov-through Buzau you will see the interesting
Muddy Volcanoes, and then well go through Prejmer to Brasov head to Brasov. Here you will
take a city tour in Brasov and where will be visit the Black Church.

Day 8-Brasov – Sinaia-Bran-Brasov ( 110 km )
Journey from Prahova Valley in the Bucegi Mountains to Sinaia. The health resort Sinaia earned
the name “Pearl of the Carpathian Mountains” when the king Carol returned from Peles. The
outstanding beauty of the landscape at the foot of the Bucegi Mountains had enchanted the young
German prince Carl von Hohenzollern who became Carol the I, King of Romania. At Sinaia he
founded a little native piece of this country: in 1883 PelesCastle was finished. Now you have the
opportunity to visit it. Also, make a short stop to visit the Orthodox monastery. The second part
of the journey is the arrival at Bran Castle. Here you can visit Castle Bran which belonged to
prince Vlad Tepes, who was known as Count Dracula. In the late afternoon youll visit the fortress
of Risnov on your way back from Bran to Poiana Brasov.Dinner and overnight Hotel 3*
Day 9: Brasov-Bucharest/Otopeni –( 190 km )
