We aim to provide you with the best possible standards of
care and services available. Help us to help you, join our
PPG today and let us hear your views ……
What is a PPG?
Patient Participation Groups (PPG) were developed to give
patients the opportunity to express their views, comments,
suggestions and concerns regarding health services provided by
their General Practitioner and Warwickshire PCT. As well as
allowing patients to voice their opinions, the PPG also aims to
increase patient understanding of services provided by and
available throughout the NHS.
Patient satisfaction is important to us, therefore, by involving
patients we hear about the issues that matter to you – the
patients. These issues may include areas such as the comfort and
warmth of the surgery, appointment systems and prescription
services or they may be about hospital admissions/discharges or
transport for the elderly or district nursing.
How does the PPG work?
The PPG meet bi-monthly for approximately 1 hour at the
practice. Members of the PPG will have an informal chat about
issues raised. Improvement suggestions are noted and where
possible these are implemented. The Practice Manager and GP
are in attendance.
Who can join the PPG?
Any patient registered at the surgery and aged 18+ is eligible to
join the PPG. We aim to involve patients from many areas of the
practice population.
How do I become a member of the PPG?
If you are interested in joining the PPG simply ask staff for more
details.
