GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR ENTRIES
Entries are restricted to members and registered breeders of the Arab Horse Society of South Africa.
All entries are subject to the current Show Rules and Regulations of the Society.
All horses entered in the show must be registered as pending and/or registered with the AHS of South
Africa.
SA Studbook introduced the so-called “Pending System” early in 2011. This system provides for
horses to be accommodated onto the Computer System as “Pending” - if there is still outstanding
information or documentation with regard to these horses.
Birth notifications that are taken-up as “Pending” due to insufficient information or documentation are
therefore horses still to be registered by SA Stud Book. These foals should therefore not be seen as
registered horses until the required information/documentation has been provided to SA Stud Book and
the registering process has been completed. Outstanding information could be anything from
outstanding Service Certificates, CEM Vet Certificates, DNA typing etcetera.
The ages of all horses and riders (where applicable) are to be calculated from the date of birth up to the
closing date of entries – 1 September 2013.
The Organisers has the right to combine, divide or cancel classes should it be necessary. Please note
the minimum entry of 5 horses per class will be strictly adhered to, except for the Mare and Stallion
classes 12 years and older and children’s classes.
Entry Fees are not refundable for any reason other than cancellation of a class.
Champions must be available for photo sessions as ordered by the Society.
14.
