CITY OF BONITA SPRINGS, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. 01-63
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AMENDMENT #3 TO
THE DECEMBER 20, 2000 CONTINUING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH
HARTMAN AND ASSOCIATES, INC., FOR STORMWATER UTILITY
DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Bonita Springs has entered into a
Continuing Services Agreement for engineering and Management Consulting
Services with Hartman & Associates, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, on May 16, 2001, following a presentation by Hartman and
Associates, Council indicated a desire to form and implement a Stormwater
Utility; and
WHEREAS, Hartman and Associates, Inc., has submitted a proposal
dated October 5, 2001 proposing to complete the activities associated with the
development of a Stormwater Utility (Task 1) for an estimated cost of $81,070,
and the implementation of a Stormwater Utility (Task 2) for an estimated cost of
$35,060, for a total “not-to-exceed” costs for both Tasks 1 and 2 of $126,130.
(Also, in adjunct to these services there will be additional legal services
performed by the law firm of Nabors, Giblin, et al., that are not expected to
exceed the cost of $31,580).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Bonita Springs, Lee County, Florida:
Authorizes the Mayor to sign Amendment #3 to the December 20, 2000
Continuing Services Agreement with Hartman and Associates, Inc., for
stormwater utility development and implementation.
