Itinerary 3: Minsk – Krevo – Lida – Novogrudok – Syncovichi – MirNesvizh – Minsk

Day 1
Arrival at “Minsk-2” International Airport.
Transfer to the hotel with guide assistance
Check-in at a hotel in the center of the city
Sightseeing tour of Minsk including architectural and cultural monuments
of the 17th-18th cent., historic part of the city – Trinity Suburb

Day 2
Breakfast
Departure for a small village of Krevo
(116 km), famous for its Castle built in the first half of the 14th cent., the
patrimony of Olgerd and Jagaylo, great Princes of the Grand Duchy Of
Lithuania (the 13th – 18th cents.). There in 1385 Jagaylo agreed to become
the king of Poland.
Tour of Krevo.
Departure for the town of Lida (founded in the 13th cent.).Tour of Lida,
including the Castle of Lida (defensive architecture of the 14th – 15th cent.)
combining features of Roman architecture and early Gothic. Nowadays, only
some defensive walls and towers are left (under restoration)
Lunch at a restaurant of Lida (the beer center of Belarus) (optional)
Departure for the town of Novogrudok
(founded 1044, 56 km), once the first capital of the Grand Duchy Of
Lithuania (1240). Tour of Novogrudok, including ruins of the Fortress of
Novogrudok – an ancient monument of Belarusian defensive architecture of
the 14th – 15th cent. and places connected with life of Adam Mitskevich, a
great Polish poet having Belarusian roots
Departure for Minsk (151 km)
Dinner. Time at leisure
Day 3
Breakfast.
Departure for the village of Syncovichi (207 km). Visiting Fortress –
Church of Syncovichi, the monument of worship with the elements of the
defensive building (the 14th – 15th cent.)
Lunch in the town of Baranovichi (70 km).
Departure for Mir (56 km). The 16th cent. Castle of Mir offers a unique
example of the architecture of this period. The architecture of the castle has
features of the late Belarusian Gothic. In the 16th cent. the castle was rebuilt
into the style of Renaissance. Today it has features of Gothic, Renaissance, of
defensive and palace architecture.

Departure for Nesvizh (40 km). Tour of Nesvizh, including Nesvizh Castle,
a former residence of the Radzivills family of medieval Belarusian magnates
with its beautiful park ensemble and a neighbouring 16th cent. Jesuit Church
built by Italian architect J. Bernardoni. Departure for Minsk
