RE: 2010 ICPI trainee travel award
Dear Dr Sobel
I am writing to express my thanks and appreciation to you and the Intersociety Council
for Pathology Information (ICPI) board for a trainee travel award, which assisted with
costs associated with attending the recent Experimental Biology 2010 meeting in
Anaheim, California.
I was able to travel to Anaheim, present data from my research, attend a variety of
excellent seminars or research sessions, and to participate in the American Society for
Investigative Pathology (ASIP) membership committee meeting on which I have had the
privilege of serving as a trainee member. This was also an invaluable opportunity to
meet and interact with colleagues from around the world. All of these activities greatly
enhance my professional development and time spent at the meeting is certainly a
valuable part of my educational training experience.
Again, I am very grateful for the ICPI’s generous support.
