The North Myrtle Beach Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a meeting on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall at 1018 2nd Avenue South to discuss the following: 1. VARIANCE #V08-13: An application for a variance to install 12 parking stalls more than the maximum permitted by the ordinance for a restaurant use in the HC (Highway Commercial) district at 4723 Highway 17 South. 2. VARIANCE #V11-13: An application for a variance of 2 feet from the required 5 foot side yard setback in the R-2 (Medium Density Residential) district at 1612 Edge Drive. 3. VARIANCE #V13-13: An application for a variance to allow a second freestanding sign with an additional 60 square feet on property in the HC (Highway Commercial) district at 2120 Sea Mountain Highway. 4. VARIANCE #V14-13: An application for a variance of 2.4 feet from the required 7.5 foot side yard setback on both sides of a quadraplex in in the R-4 (Resort Residential) district at 3504 South Ocean Boulevard. 5. VARIANCE #V15-13: An application for a variance of 5 feet from the required 10 foot side yard setback on one side of a single-family residence in the R-1 (Single-Family Residential) district at 1336 Poole Street. 6. VARIANCE #V16-13: An application for a variance to reduce by 5 the number of required parking spaces for a pool hall at 1890 Highway 17 South. 7. SPECIAL EXCEPTION #SE2-13: An application for a special exception to serve on-premise alcohol in the HC (Highway Commercial) district at 1890 Highway 17 South. 8. VARIANCE #V17-13: An application for a variance from the fence requirements on oceanfront properties to allow PVC material instead of aluminum material at 4102 North Ocean Boulevard.
