Six time GRAMMY winning trio Lady Antebellum released their new album ‘OWN THE NIGHT’ last
week in North America where it flew straight to number one in both the US and Canada. In the US alone
it sold 347,000 copies in its first week, cementing their position as one of the biggest acts in the world
today.
US critics have been lavish in their praise for what is Lady Antebellum’s “strongest effort to date”
according to the Washington Post. The New York Times have hailed ‘Own The Night’ as, “One of the
most convincing albums of the year, a huge leap forward”, while Associated Press claim, “Together, the
team represents how country music can use its strengths — songwriting and strong-yet-earthy vocals that
explore real-life situations and emotions — in a way that carries universal appeal.”
Lady Antebellum make their debut appearance on Saturday Night Live on October 1st before flying to
Europe for a string of promotional appearances in the UK, France and Germany before kicking off the
first leg of their headlining OWN THE NIGHT 2011 TOUR in the US in November. For a full list of

The band arrive in the UK on October 3rd and will be appearing on many TV and radio shows, with a
number of exclusive performances. They round off their UK visit with a very special ‘Unplugged’-style

Empire, which sold-out within hours of being announced.
