Mainstream Minerals - More Bonanza Gold Grades / Major Geophysical Survey Completed at Bobjo Mine, Red Lake, ON Winnipeg, Manitoba – June 18th, 2007 Mainstream Minerals Corporation (TSX.V: MJO) and King’s Bay Gold Corporation (TSX.V: KBG) are pleased to report that they have received more high-grade gold results – up to 4.03 ounces per ton (opt) gold - and completed a major ground geophysical program on their joint venture Bobjo Mine, located in Earngey Township, Red Lake, Ontario. Recent sampling from mineralized quartz veins has just returned more high-grade gold results. Highlights included 138.0 gpt (grams per tonne) Au, 67.9 gpt Au, 67.3 gpt Au, 53.1 gpt Au, 50.4 gpt Au, 36.6 gpt Au, and 32.3 gpt Au. This recent sampling follows up previously released results by Kings Bay Gold dated December 11th, 2006. The mineralization sampled in this program was taken from quartz carbonate veins, and covered an area of approximately 200 square feet. Follow-up channel sampling is expected to commence in the coming weeks. The exploration program also consisted of 105.2 kms of line-cutting followed by ground magnetic and VLF-EM surveys. The surveys were conducted by Dan Patrie Exploration to establish areas of magnetic elevations, magnetic lows and VLF cross overs to help define structures and conductors. The readings were taken along the lines at 25 and 100 metres apart and at 25 metre station intervals. These surveys will be used to aid in targeting new areas for exploration as well as for extensions to known mineralization. The samples were taken under the supervision and direction of John Archibald, P. Geologist. Mr. John Archibald is the Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101. All of the samples were analyzed by Accurassay Laboratories of Thunder Bay, Ontario, using the standard fire assay method. It is comprised of a total of 9 patented and 86 unpatented claim units (3,800 acres) with a power transmission line passing through the southern part of the property. The area has a history of gold and base metal production dating back 80 years and the work presently being carried out by the partners represents the commencement of the first modern, systematic exploration of this property. A diamond drill program will commence very shortly.
