Dear Parents and Carers
Apologies for the delayed newsletter – Ofsted have taken up many hours of our time this week!
Winter Wonderland
We are getting ready for our “Winter Wonderland” tomorrow – Saturday 1st December – opening from
12.00 to 4.00pm. A good afternoon out for the family!
Science Day
Years 2, 3 and 4 will be experiencing the fun of a Science day on Monday 3rd December.
Christmas Choir
Mrs Thomas’s Christmas choir have been preparing songs to sing at the Winter Wonderland and on
Sunday 9th December at Sissinghurst Castle – please come and support them.
Christmas Events
Carol service in the Church at 6.00pm on Thursday 13th December. All children are involved and
everyone is welcome to come and join in.
Tuesday 18th December at 2.00pm in the Church, Miss Jones and Mrs Thomas’ classes will be
performing a nativity in the Church, Cock-a-Doodle Christmas (all are welcome to watch).
Holly class will have their Christmas party on 18th December.
Wednesday 19th December - the school Christmas dinner – you will receive a letter with this newsletter
– please return the slip to the school office by the 11th December with payment, if your child normally
has a packed lunch but would like a Christmas dinner.
At 6.00pm that evening Miss Jones’ and Mrs Thomas’s classes will be doing an evening performance
of their nativity in the Church – please come and enjoy the evening.
Thursday 20th December – Willow and Hazel’s Christmas party.
Friday 21st December – break up for Christmas.
Christmas Post
We have a post box for Christmas cards outside of Hazel class (Miss Jones) – open for business from
Monday.
