STUDY LAB ETIQUETTE
Welcome to the OMSE TUTORING PROGRAM.
Please keep the following guidelines in mind while in the Study Lab:

Tutors and Lab Monitors cannot monitor personal items for study lab users, and
OMSE is not responsible for personal items left in the room. Personal belongings
should not be left unattended.

Please leave the room in good condition. Do not leave trash or pieces of paper on
the table or floor of the study lab. Trash should be disposed of properly in the
trash container provided in the lab or elsewhere in the office.

General university rules of conduct and behavior apply in the Study Lab.

Use of laptops is strictly limited to university and course-related work. Lab
monitors will verify that laptops are solely being used for authorized purposes.

Nothing may be affixed to the walls, windows, ceiling, or doors, unless authorized
by OMSE staff members.

Please monitor your volume level so as to avoid disturbing other students.

NO FOOD is allowed in the study lab and only water in a bottle with a secure
cover is permitted.

Any damage should be reported immediately to the staff member on duty.

Misuse of the Study Lab may result in denial of future use.
