THE WAYFARERS EXTENDS 2011 PRICING FOR 2012 WALKS
Confirm a January - July 2012 Walk by Year’s End and Receive Savings of $100 - $300 per person
on Selected Walks
Newport, RI, October 2011 – With The Wayfarers’ new “price hold” guarantee, early-bird travelers
who book a 2012 walking vacation by December 31, 2011 will earn substantial savings on some of
the walking tour company’s best-loved itineraries. The “price holds” range from $100 to $300 per
person are available on 27 selected walking itineraries departing through July 31, 2012, in
destinations such as England, Ireland, France, Italy and the Czech Republic, as well as closer-tohome New Mexico.
Known for capturing the unique history, culture and cuisine of a region, these immersive tours allow
travelers to connect with personal passions ranging from literature to art to viticulture. Selected walks
with spring and summer savings include “The Brontë Trail” and “Jane Austen Country” in England
and “Cezanne’s Provence” and “Alsace - Villages, Vosges and Vineyards” in France. The majority of
the walks are seven days and six nights and average $3,995 per person, based on double occupancy.
The price hold excludes new Wayfarers walks and walks departing after July 31, 2012.
Travelers need only reserve and pay their deposit by December 31, 2011 to receive 2011 pricing on
the following 2012 walks.

customs and traditions, groups of eight to 10 walkers, on average, set a leisurely pace through
