Change of Officers Night.
A great evening with a good meal and good attendance. There was a nice balance of
respect and formality coupled with humour. Well done to MC Bruce Walter. Thank you
Past President John Gibbs for a great year and our full support goes to President Euan
Thomson and his new board.

“It is not often that I am lost for words and quite frankly it has not yet fully sunk in with
regard to receiving a Melvin Jones Fellow award from the club. I joined Lions because, like all
of us, I believed that I could do something positive for my fellow man and the Community at
large. I thoroughly enjoy the fellowship of the Mana Lions and I enjoy what I do within, and for
the club, so to be honoured in such a way is humbling to say the least. Thanks, sincerely to you
all. I will continue to do my best to be worthy of such a great honour”
