2016 Registration
(i)
All returning International and SADC students must go to the IAPO offices in the Masingene Building, Middle Campus on the day before they
are scheduled to register, for fee clearance and to present their study permits and health insurance details.
(ii) Postgraduate returning students must contact their departments about re- registration and reregister no later than 29 February 2016 unless (a)
their Department has specified an earlier date for registration or (b) they are taking a course which begins earlier – in which case they must
reregister not later than the day on which the course begins. New postgraduate students will be informed of registration procedures in their
letters of acceptance and will also be required to contact their department regarding their registration procedure.
(iii) A late registration fee of R2000 will automatically be charged to the account of any student who registers late. Waiver of the fee will be
considered by the Dean only in the most exceptional of circumstances which must be fully motivated in writing.

Without concessions: Returning BSc(Eng) students (all branches,
excl. MEC), and Civil and Chemical Engineering students who
completed first-year in ASPECT.
With concessions: Returning BSc(Eng) students (all branches,
excl. MEC), and Civil and Chemical Engineering students who
completed first-year in ASPECT.
With or without concessions: Mechanical and ElectroMechanical Engineering students in the following categories: 1st 2nd year bridging, 2nd year straight through, 2nd – 3rd year bridging
and 3rd year straight through.
Without concessions: Returning BSc(Geomatics) students
With concessions: Returning BSc(Geomatics) students
Without concessions: Returning BSc(Const. Studies), BSc(Prop.
