Dear Sir,
Sub: -Govt. Institute of Electronics, Secunderabad – Hostel - Invitation for
Quotations to Supply Hostel Equipment like Dining Tables, Steam cooking
equipment etc., – Regarding.

1.
You are invited to submit your most competitive quotation for the supply of
Hostel Equipment like Dining Tables, Steam cooking equipment etc., as listed in
the ANNEXURE.
2.
Bid Price.
a)
All duties, taxes and other levies payable to the supplier under the contract
shall be included in the total price of each item.
b)
F.O.R. Govt. Institute of Electronics, Secunderabad A.P.
c)
The rates quoted by the bidder shall be fixed and will not be subjected to
adjustment on any account.
d)
The prices should be quoted in INDIAN RUPEES only.
e)
Each bidder shall submit only one quotation for each schedule.
3.
Validity of Quotation:
Quotation shall remain valid for a period not less than 90 days after the last date for
submission of tender.
4.
Evaluation of Quotations.
The bids will be evaluated and compared to determine substantially responsive
quotation i.e.
a)
Are properly signed.
b)
Conform to the terms and conditions.
c)
Quotation would be evaluated item wise separately on basic price excluding
all taxes. Therefore the supplier has to quote basic price and taxes
separately in the quotation format.
5.
Earnest Money Deposit: Each quotation must accompany an EMD of Rs.10,000/( Rupees Ten thousand Only)(Refundable) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in
favor of The Principal, Govt. Institute of Electronics, payable at Secunderabad.
6.
Award of Contract.
a)
The contract will be awarded to the bidder whose quotation has been
determined to be substantially responsive and who has offered the lowest
price.
b)
Notwithstanding the above, the institution reserves the right to accept or
reject any quotation and to cancel the entire bidding process and reject all
the quotations at any time prior to the award of the contract.

c)
The bidder whose bid is accepted will be notified of the award of contract
prior to the expiry of the quotation validity period. The terms of the accepted
offer shall be incorporated in the purchase order.
d)
If the successful bidder fails to supply the stationery within due date of
award of contract, the EMI deposited by the bidder will be forfeited.
7.
Terms of Payment:
Payment will be made within a week after the supply of the equipment as per the
specification.
8.
You are requested to provide your offer before 02.00 PM on 12-08-2013
9.
The purchaser will open the quotations at
03.00 p.m. on 12-08-2013

DESCRIPTION OF THE EQUIPMENT
SS Dining Table with SS Legs & SS Top (8xSeater) of size
90"x30" x30"
The unit top is made of 16 swg stainless steel. The stools
will be 12" dia ss plates 17" height and the stools will be
reinforced with 2" square pipe. Nylon adjustable square
bullet feet.
SS Dining Table with MS Legs & SS Top (8xSeater) of size
90"x30" x30"
The unit top is made of 16swg stainless steel, table top with
2" 1.6 swg square ms pipe for uprights and bracing. The
stools will be 12" dia ss plates 17" height and the stools will
be reinforced with 2" square pipe. Nylon adjustable square
bullet feet.
Modern Steam Generator Unit of capacity 100 psi
fabricated of heavy duty 8mm thick tested MS plate for
base, Frame and body with separate chamber for steam
and water. The outer is of 22 SWG Stainless Steel Cladding
with in – between glass wool insulation. The unit is gas
operated with single high – pressure burner. The unit has a
super heater chamber and all necessary fittings like
floating valve assembly with ball, pressure gauge, safety
valve, valve cock set for water level indicator and a heavy –
duty MS angular stand.
Rice Vessel suitable for cooking 20Kgs of rice at a time
made in cylindrical shape. It shall be Fabricated in 16 swg
SS sheet of AISI – 304 (Food Grade) with lid made out of 18
SWG 304 Grade. Unit will have perforated Stainless Steel
bottom To facilitate steam infusion into the Vessel. Vessel
to be mounted on a heavy Duty SS Angle frame of 30
x30x3mm thick with SS tilting handle. The tilting
mechanism will have stopper. Vessel will have steam inlet
pipe from bottom and drain outlet with a ball Valve.
Capaciyt: 120 Ltrs
Dal Vessel suitable for cooking 20Kgs of Dal at a time made
in cylindrical shape. It will be Fabricated in 16 swg SS
sheet of AISI – 304 (Food Grade) with lid made out of 18
SWG 304 Grade. Unit will have perforated Stainles Steel
bottom To facilitate steam infusion into the Vessel. Vessel
to be mounted on a heavy Duty SS Angle frame of 30
x30x3mm thick with SS tilting handle. The tilting
mechanism will have stopper. Vessel will have steam inlet
pipe from bottom and drain outlet with a ball Valve.
Capacity: 100 Ltrs
Milk Vessel suitable for boiling 20 liters of milk at a time
made in cylindrical shape. It will be Fabricated in 16 swg
SS sheet of AISI – 304 (Food Grade) Double Jacket body i.e
out for steam & inner for milk with lid made out of 18 SWG
304 Grade. Unit will have perforated Stainles Steel bottom
To facilitate steam infusion into the Vessel. Vessel to be
mounted on a heavy Duty SS Angle frame of 30 x30x3mm
thick with SS tilting handle. The tilting mechanism will
have stopper. Vessel will have steam inlet pipe from
