Travelling by Boat Module We Love Hong Kong Unit Travelling by Boat Programme outline Travelling by boat is fun. Steven and Joyce spend their day looking for their favourite boat ride in Aberdeen, Causeway Bay, Central and Tsim Sha Tsui. During their search, they see different kinds of boats. Some boats are for work, some are for travel and pleasure, and some are for saving lives. At the Hong Kong Maritime Museum in Stanley, they also find big model boats and many interactive games. To motivate the class to learn about boats, introduce the Hong Kong Maritime Museum and its website, www.hkmaritimemuseum.org. 2. Introduce the programme and the presenters, Steven and Joyce. 3. To encourage pupils to learn about the types of boats commonly found in Hong Kong, teachers replay the segment near the end of the programme for pupils to revise the names of the boats, and then ask pupils to label the pictures in COPYMASTER 1.
