Nayar, M.D. Colonoscopy FLEETS PREP The week before: Alert your doctor of all your medications Stop aspirin or NSAIDs (Advil, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Aleve, etc.) 7 days before your procedure Stop iron supplements, multivitamins with iron, and vitamin E supplements 7 days before your procedure Stop fiber supplements 3 days before your procedure Purchase two-1 ½ fl. Oz. Bottles of Fleets Phospho-soda (Ginger, lemon or regular flavor) at any pharmacy. Fleets Phospho-soda is also available in 3 or 8 fl. Oz; if larger size is purchased, do not exceed recommended doses, as serious side effects may occur. The day before: Stay on a clear-liquid diet the entire day (water, tea or coffee without milk or creamer, ices, clear soups, broth, bouillon, plain jello, non-pulp fruit juices, and carbonated beverages **NO RED LIQUIDS**.
