Dear Senior Graduating Class of 2010:
It has been my honor to teach some of you, to meet some of you and others I will get to know this school
year.
The first semester I will be able to assist you in the College Office, room 337.
Below are the activities that are specific to the Senior Advisor:

o (Pep Rally, Homecoming, Intramural sports-all subject to approval by Ms. Ortiz)
Let’s stay focused so that you may participate in all of these activities. Focus on your grades,
attendance, conduct and most important, your academics, and let’s have some fun while we are at!!!
Your monetary expectations for 2009-2010 are listed below in conjunction with fundraising which must
be approved in advanced, but more about that later on.




Senior Dues: $310.00 –which will cover the Cap and Gown, class ring (sterling silver)
Stole for your neck, Yearbook, Graduation Invitations, Senior T-Shirt, and Diploma
Case.
o 1st Payment of $50.00 due September 28th ,
o 2nd Payment of $50.00 due October 23rd
o 3rd and final payment of $50.00 is due on November 23rd.
o No refunds will be given
 Money Orders only made out to the School for Legal Studies, a receipt
will be given.
 Absolutely no personal checks,
Class pictures will be taken by a studio in November – this is not included in dues.
The Senior Prom tickets: approximately $100.00
The Senior Trip: 2 nights and 3 days –$220.00 approximately.
1st Payment of $40.00 due on September 28th—
in order to measure for your cap and gown- Note cap and gown fitting in September (date to

come)
Pictures by Thornton Studios in November 26th, and 27th (date to confirmed)-$8.00 sitting fee we might change studios-will let you know!!!

AFTER NOV. 23RD
Please note that the Senior Trip cost is predicated on fund raising from October through
November.
No refunds. Senior must be on track for graduation and must pass all of their classes/requirements in
order to participate in senior events such as the Senior Prom, senior trip and graduation. Please note that
4A1, 4B1, C40, W40, Y40 are eligible to pay senior dues. If you are uncertain about your status, please
see Ms. Ramirez, Senior Guidance Counselor, at 718-387-2800, x684 to discuss you academic status.
