Detail
Use this application form to apply for a licence to interfere with badger setts during development
work. The licence covers housing developments, the construction of pipelines and the building of
new fences.
Apply for this licence
To apply for this licence, complete the licence application form and send it to Natural England at
the address provided. You’ll need to state clearly on your application how the proposed
development work will interfere with the badger setts and how any mitigation work will be
carried out.
How to report your actions
You must send a report of all the actions taken under the licence to Natural England within 2
weeks of its expiry date. Send your report using the form provided above.
