is the result of an exhaustive creative process to produce the most refined, Luxury Offshore Rib and

makes absolutely no compromise, from design, naval architecture, hull design, and sound engineering.

is no ordinary Rib – simplified in concept, she is probably the most driver-orientated vehicle on the water; easy to manoeuvre, easy to understand and with familiar controls that allow any car driver to experience

Technical Specification for Whitmarsh High Performance Ribs:

It is our aim to use quality proven tried and tested equipment and rigging methods to provide the most reliable and durable product possible.

Hull Construction

This will be hand laid GRP using Iosthalic resin for maximum Osmosis protection. Eglass CSM/Bi-axial cloth lay up with high density Divinycell foam hull reenforcement to give the ultimate performance whilst saving weight and eliminating water ingress and deterioration that is common with Plywood cores.

Tube Colour to Client Requirements

580mm tapered tube with seven chamber design and pressure relief valves as standard for maximum safety. Manufactured with

Composite Teak for Maximum Durability and Practicality

composite decking system depending on colour selected.

Manufactured from a rigid vinyl composite that looks and feels like natural wood but solves a lot of the problems associated with a traditional wooden deck as well as being eco friendly.

Integral 4 Point Lifting System Built in to the Hull with Slings Supplied

This system simplifies lifting and avoids chaffing on the tubes when using conventional slings. The stern lifting points will be

‘Harken’

lifting eyes bolted through the transom. The forward points are 90 degree plates bolted through both the longitudinal stringers and the thwart ships bulkhead with 16mm thread in eyes for maximum strength.

The use of

Dyneema®

fiber for the slings provides many important advantages. This lightweight fiber enables the manufacturing of slings that are lower in weight by a factor of eight compared to similar steel wire-based equipment. Lighter weight makes handling the slings easier and allows them to be stowed onboard without taking up space and carrying un-wanted weight.

450 Litre Aluminium Powder Coated Fuel Tank

This will be a rolled edge construction for maximum safety and strength.

in Poole, they are a major OEM supplier to both the marine and specialist vehicle manufacturing sectors as well as the petro-chemical and gen-set industries. Waterjet cutting and CNC folding ensures consistency of measurements for small production runs, and all welders are coded. Every tank is individually numbered and pressure tested and carries a two year manufacturer’s guarantee.

25 Litre Fresh Water Tank/Aft Deck Shower

This will an integral GRP tank located in the bow section under the foredeck moulding.

This is a low friction hydraulic steering system for outboard engines up to 350hp, it has 4.25 turns from lock to-lock and the factory swaged hoses are

Stainless Steel Boarding Support/Handrail

This will be a support pole to be fitted in to a drop in socket at the forward end of the aft seating arrangement on both sides of the boat to ensure guests can board the boat with maximum safety.

Stainless Steel Stem Tow Point

This will be a ‘V’ shaped plate made to fit the hull form to enable the boat to be towed behind the main vessel. There will be an eyelet on either side of the hull to allow the safest and most stable tow.

Electrical Install / Switching

rocker switches will be used for the consoles. These have proven to be the most reliable for this type of application and are the easiest to repair, replace or by-pass should an electrical failure occur.

Pumps and Drainage

2000 gph bilge pumps fitted. The first will be fitted in the aft bilge. The second will be fitted in a sump tank just below floor level behind the back seat to catch water from the cockpit sole. The sump will have a two and a half inch overflow (with non return valve) directed overboard through the transom as a back up/emergency system. All cockpit lockers will have a GRP wax gel finish and will have limber holes to allow them to drain aft.
