The Independent Basketball Officials Association (IBOA) is pleased to offer its fourth annual officiating camp and clinic at beautiful St.Olaf College,
Skoglund Center in Northfield, Mn. This camp will be unique as it offers the attendee real time game experienced with varsity level coaches. And
the best thing, it is only one day. You don’t have to break the bank to attend or dedicate an entire weekend away from the family.
This camp will be geared towards 3-person officiating mechanics with experienced high school or college official as well as any new officials just
wanting to learn more about the unique art of officiating. Unique to the IBOA camp, high school students and anyone 21 years of age or younger
attend free of charge. This is perfect for those of you wanting to get your son or daughter into officiating.
You will get to work some varsity boy’s high school basketball games using 2 and 3 person officiating mechanics. There will also be some fun
classroom training as well. For these reasons along, this camp will be one of the best camps to attend this off-season. Not to mention the fact you
will be viewed and evaluated by some of the best officials in the state of Minnesota. Clinicians consist of NCAA Men’s Officials, MSHSL State
Tournament Officials.
Disclaimer: Attending this camp will not guarantee you a High School State Tournament, a High School Sectional Playoff, or NCAA DII or DIII
assignment. I do not assign any of this. However, I do assign one varsity college (men’s and women’s), several JV men’s colleges, some occasional
high school varsity games, some DI AAU Boys Summer Tournaments, and some State Recreation Men’s (all levels) Playoff’s games. If you are
good, I “can” guarantee you something here. So here’s your opportunity to get some more exposure to more potential games.
