The Ocean County Library’s Professional Development Workshops for Educators Winter/Spring 2010 Developing a Curriculum of Diversity: A Workshop for Educators Tuesday, January 12th 4:00pm This important topic will be the subject of a presentation by Wade Hudson and Cheryl Hudson, founders of Just Us Books, a publisher of books for children and teens which focus on Black culture, history, and experiences. Topics to be covered include: practical suggestions to get multicultural materials to the students; information on using these materials to support and enhance curriculum standards; innovative ways to introduce multicultural materials and to generate excitement among the students about these materials.
