MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ADVANCED TRAINING IN CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY 1.1.1 One or more clinical pharmacologists may be combined supervisors for the advanced trainee. 1.2.1 There is regular interaction between the supervisor and the advanced trainee to ensure he/she is developing their knowledge base, is actively participating in day to day clinical pharmacology activities and is able to discuss issues as they arise. 1.3.1 The department shall provide supervision for advanced training by a specialist who has experience in the practice in clinical pharmacology 1.3.2 Supervisors will have attended an RACP Supervisor’s workshop within the last 5 years or intend to attend a workshop within 6 months of commencing as a supervisor. 1.4.1 Consultants have non-clinical time that can be directed to supervision of Trainees.
