GUIDELINES FOR SENDING, REVIEWING AND PUBLICATION OF
MANUSCRIPTS SUBMITTED TO SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL
“BULLETIN OF KAMCHATKA STATE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY”
“Bulletin of KamchatSTU” Journal is issued four times a year and includes the results of
research activities on areas:
– scientific-and-informational ensuring of technical systems development, natural
environment control and natural resources usage;
– aqua culture and preservation of the water biological resources and their habitat, the
influence of natural and anthropogenic factors upon water ecosystems condition;
– food technologies and fish-processing equipment;
– socio-economic development of regions.
The original results which are not aimed to be released in other editions are published in
the Journal.
The manuscript should fit with the said areas, have doubtless novelty, theoretical and
practical value. The manuscript should be prepared on a high scientific level and contain the
results of investigations upon the corresponding problem.
Preparing the manuscript authors are kindly requested to adhere to the accepted
regulations.
Articles are published in Russian.
MANUSCRIPT SENDING
The manuscript with application in a paper and electronic form should be sent to the
following address: 683003, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, Klyuchevskaya St., 35, “Bulletin of
KamchatSTU” and e-mail: vestnik@kamchatgtu.ru
Paper variant of the manuscript should be strictly regulated and necessarily signed by all
authors on the reverse of the last list. The file name should correspond to the author’s name.
The following files are to be enclosed to the manuscript:
– application for publishing (If the manuscript has several authors, it is necessary to give
full information about each of them and to indicate the person for contacting with the
editors.);
– authorization to publish the material authenticated by seal and signed by the head of the
author’s organization (for external authors);
– examination report / expert decision in the form accepted in the author’s organization;
– consent of the author to transfer the right to publish the manuscript and distribute in
domestic and international electronic databases.
MANUSCRIPT REVIEWING
The matter of accepting or rejecting the manuscript for publication is concerned by the
editorial board of the Journal.
The readers of the Journal are recognized highly skilled scientists, having the degree of
doctor or candidate of science with specialty in proper fields of science.
Manuscripts gaining readers’ appreciation are accepted for publication during editorial
board meeting.
Manuscripts recommended for rework are sent to the authors with the readers’ remarks.
The updated variant and the letter with the answers to the readers’ remarks should be sent to the
editors by the date fixed for the second reviewing. The date of the manuscript presentation is the
date of coming in the editors the revised version of the manuscript.
In case the manuscript gets negative estimation the author is refused in publishing.
The decision of the editorial board on accepting or rejecting the manuscript publication is
reported to the authors.
Manuscripts are not returned.
MANUSCRIPT PUBLICATION
Each issue of the Journal is completed with the manuscripts being reviewed and accepted
for publication by the editorial board taking into account the priority of the manuscript coming
in, its volume and section filling of the Journal.
Manuscripts of post-graduates, finishing the graduate school education, and persons,
intending to defend a thesis in the near future, are accepted out of turn.
Advantage of publication in the Journal is distributed on the manuscripts containing the
results of scientific researches in the field of fish industry.
Only one article may be published in one issue of the Journal.
The publication of the manuscripts is free. The fee for publication is not paid.
Full-text electronic versions of the Journal issues are presented on KamchatSTU site
(http://www.kamchatgtu.ru), scientific electronic library (http://elibrary.ru).
Notes of all published materials, key words, information about authors are placed in free
access on the Journal site, electronic quotation systems (data bases) in Russian and in English.
