Student Information and Behavior Contract
This contract must be signed by the student and a parent/guardian listed on the student’s emergency card AND by the guest
and the guest’s parent/guardian and submitted prior to purchasing a ticket. Students who purchase tickets are required to
inform their guests of all contract rules. Students and guests are required to abide by all school rules and the terms of this
contract.
Purchasing a Ticket:
1. Tickets will only be sold to GBHS seniors possessing a current student ID card and their approved guests with a bid.
Students with fines or on Senior Conduct will not be allowed to purchase a Senior Ball ticket.
2. We will be doing electronic ticket sales, so NO ONE may buy a ticket without a current GBHS ID!
3. Tickets will be sold at both lunches from the Student Store from Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 and Monday,
April 20 through Friday, April 24. Tickets cannot be sold after this date, as we are required to give our final
numbers to the Hyatt.
4. Ticket prices will vary throughout the ticket-sales period, and exceptions will not be granted to students who do not
have bids or fines cleared in time to receive discounted prices. For more information on ticket sales times and
pricing, please check the school website under the “Senior Ball” link.
5. Bids are available starting March 23 at the Student Services office.
All bids are due to the office by 3:00 pm on
Wednesday, April 22. NO NON-GRANITE BAY STUDENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE DANCE WITHOUT A BID AND A TICKET! No
guest over 20 years of age will be allowed to attend. See the bid form for more information.
Admittance:
1. Admittance/attendance is subject to GBHS Administration approval.
2. All students must present an ID card at the door for admission. Granite Bay students must present a valid Student ID
Card. Guests of Granite Bay students must present a picture ID. Students or guests without the appropriate ID will
NOT be admitted!
3. We will be doing electronic check in, so ALL GBHS students MUST HAVE their student IDs or they will NOT be able to
enter!
4. All school rules related to substance and alcohol use are in effect.
5. Registration opens at 6:15 and doors close at 7:15 pm. Students must arrive prior to 7:15. Dinner is served at 7:30
pm. No re-admittance will be allowed. Students will not be allowed in any area outside of the designated secure area
until they leave the event. Senior Ball is over at 11 pm, and all students must be off the Hyatt premises by 11:15
pm.
6. Backpacks, purses or bags of any kind must be checked in and are subject to search. Only small clutch purses will be
allowed into the ballroom after they are searched. Cars parked at the Hyatt may be searched for alcohol, drugs or
weapons.
7. Students may use the Hyatt garage parking. A voucher for $7 parking in the garage will be available upon your arrival
at registration. If students choose to valet park, the cost is $22. Street parking is extremely limited and may be
unavailable.
Rules:
1. Please refer to the school handbook. All school rules will be enforced! Rule infractions may result in school
discipline.
2. Students under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be admitted and will be subject to school and criminal
penalty.
a. If students are found to be under the influence or alcohol or drugs at any time during Senior Ball, parents
will be contacted and will be expected to come and pick their student up at the Hyatt no later than 11:00 pm.
b. Students found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be suspended from school, and may be cited
by the police.
c. Any student found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be placed on “Senior Conduct”, and may
be excluded from senior events including the graduation ceremony.
3. Students who purchase tickets are required to inform their guests of all contract rules. Guests are required to abide
by all school rules and the terms of this contract. Any student or guest exhibiting disruptive behavior will be
removed from the dance and the student or guest will be released to the GBHS student parent or police if parent(s)
cannot be reached. The Granite Bay High School student will be held accountable for the behavior of their guest. No
reimbursement or refund will be given when asked to leave the dance for not following this agreement.
4. The dress code for Senior Ball is formal attire. No jeans, shorts or tshirts will be allowed. Changes of clothing
will not be allowed. Students are expected to dress and carry themselves appropriately for a formal adult event.

I have read the rules on the Student Information and Behavior Contract, and the Student
Handbook and agree to abide by all expectations outlined. I understand the consequences for
any inappropriate behavior. I understand that the dance is a school event and, like all school
events, the dance is TOBACCO, DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE. MY DATE AND I AGREE TO REMAIN DRUG AND
ALCOHOL FREE FOR THIS EVENT.
