7:45am – meet in the LIDS reading room (Lillian, Guy, Taylore, Rosangela (Lynne –
backup))
- take table clothes, cups, napkins, plates
8:00am – Breakfast delivered to Grier Room (Lillian, Guy, Taylore, Patrick, Kyle,
Rosangela (Lynne – backup), Lei)
- set up a table for name tags (Lei – give the remainder name tags to Lillian at
end of day)
- room set up (Patrick)
- make sure audio/visual equipments are ready to go – laptop, laser pointer,
projectors (LCD and overhead), mic, speaker (Kyle – please make sure all
items are accounted for at the end of the day)
- Breakfast table setup - table clothes, cups, napkins, drinks, food plates,
garbage cans (Taylore, Rosangela, Lillian)
- Programs and posters (Guy)
8:30 – Breakfast served
9:00 – Conference starts (Prof. Chan give a speech)
10:10-10:30 – First break
11:00 – Lunch delivered (Taylore, Rosangela, Lynne, Fifa)
11:30-12:30 – First Guest Speaker Talk (Bob Gallager)
- Guest speaker – water, food, gift (Tengo)
12:30-1:30 – Lunch Served
1:30-2:30 – Second Guest Speaker Talk (Debasis Mitra)
- Guest speaker – water, food, gift (Tengo)
3:30-3:45 – Second Break
3:45-4:45 – Third Guest Speaker Talk (Radia Perlman)
- Guest speaker – water, food, gift (Tengo)

4:45pm – (Jun – take the LCD projector and get screen from Li-Wei. Get these to the
Faculty Club as soon as you can)
4:45-6:00 – Panel discussion
6:00pm – conference ends (Patrick, Guy, Ramesh – you can start to clean up during the
panel)
- Kyle – bring the mic and speaker to the banquet
Jan. 31st, Banquet
4:30pm – set up for audio/visual (Jun, Sonia, Lynne, Minkyu, Julius, Mario, Lillian,
Rosangela) – (Lynne, Sonia, Lillian, Minkyu, Rosangela meet at 4:30 in the reading room)
- projector, screen (Jun)
- band (Julius, Mario) – Mario, please bring your microphone – you can meet
us at the Faculty Club
- placement cards (Minkyu)
- center piece and decorations (Lynne, Sonia – need scissors) – Rosangela drive
- coat rack (Lillian – bring laptop with slideshow)
