APPLICATION TO CAVAN COUNTY COUNCIL FOR A WASTE FACILITY
PERMIT
Notice is herby given in accordance with Articles 7 and 8 of the Waste Management
(Facility Permit and Registration) Regulations 2007 as amended; that____________
(give name and address of business) intends to apply for a Waste Facility Permit at
_____________ (give location of proposed facility) to___________ (give description
of waste activity taking cognisance of class (es) of activity). The application for a waste
facility permit will be made to Cavan County Council within 10 working days of the date of
this notice.
The Class (es) of Activity at the site, as specified in the Fourth Schedule of the European
Communities (Waste Directive) Regulations 2011 are as follows;
Class (es) ______ (give class (es) as per the Fourth Schedule of the European
Communities (Waste Directive) Regulations 2011). ___________ (give detail associated
with class (es) of activity e.g. Class R4. Recycling/reclamation of metal and metal
compounds).
The Class (es) of Activity at the site, as specified in Part 1 of the Third Schedule of the
Waste Management (Facility Permit and Registration) Regulations 2007 as amended are as
follows;

A copy of the application for the waste facility permit will as soon as practicable after
receipt by Cavan County Council, be available for inspection or purchase at the Waste
Management Section, Cavan County Council, Farnham St, Cavan, during office hours
(Monday-Friday: 9.15am to 5.00pm.; Closed 1pm to 2pm)
