Ehrlich, Walter Papers, ca. 1986-2006 (08-001) (1 cu. ft) [Location 2.2] A St. Louis native & graduate of Soldan High School & Washington University, Walter Ehrlich was a Jewish educator & historian. He taught at University City and Horton Watkins High Schools, was principal of Shaare Emeth’s Religious School and served as educational director of United Hebrew. He joined the history faculty of the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 1969, retiring as Professor Emeritus in 1992. The bulk of this collection involves Walter Ehrlich’s research and activities surrounding the publication of Zion in the Valley, Volumes I & II by the University of Missouri Press. Box 1 1.
