Initial two years worked as proposal manager for wind and hydro power projects. EPC proposals
have been prepared for Turkey, Pakistan and Libyan wind power projects. Other highlights:

Official Relations: Numerous government institutions and authorities namely Energy Market
Regulatory Authority (EPDK), Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Transmission
System Operator (TEIAS) actively interfered. Bureaucratic process and mentality have been
learned.
2.
Energy and Investment Legislation: All legislative laws, decrees, regulations etc. regarding
energy and energy investment learned. In addition, development of sectoral legislation
models screened.
3.
Renewable Projects: 6 wind power projects and one hydro power projects developed till
generation license acquisition.
Umweltkontor Yenilenebilir Enerji A.S. (Country Manager-Senior Project Manager)
Although employment initially planned as a country manager, after evaluation of Turkish market,
it is converted to a senior project manager in mother company’s other subsidiaries. There were
job assignments in Greece, Belgium, and France in different dates. There was 2 years
employment in Germany as well. During the tenure following points dealt with:
1.
International Experience: Umweltkontor was Germany-based international company;
considerable work has done in international perspective. Engagement of international posts
and projects and experience ranges from accounting to the project management.
2.
International Project Evaluation: Evaluation and review of feasibility studies -mostly from
the economical point of view- carried out.
3.
New Markets Entrance: Markets in the vicinity of Germany closely monitored and in
addition to preparing market reports entrance strategies have been developed.

Reporting to Upper Management: Monthly and three monthly activity reports have been
prepared and submitted to the upper management.

Highlights worth to mention for the employment period:
1.
Wind Energy Business: New sector establishment has been observed. Being pioneer in the
sector, there were lots of problems faced. In several projects there was involvement from the
very beginning to end. There were four other wind power projects in various stages.
2.
Domestic Project Management: Being manager of five wind power projects led to practical
and academical talents in the field of project management. Wide range of activities and
operations ranging from state-public relations to management skills, gained.
