A statement of expenditure and an itemized list of expenses as they appear in the
original budget have been received by the Ban k and a copy is attached for your record. I
have reviewed the statement and the list of expenses and found it to be a fair
representation of the activities and output for which the grant was given. A Senior
Financial Management Specialist from AFTFM supervised the compliance with Bank
fiduciary safeguards during the implementation of the grant. The accounts were
periodically audited by external auditors and the Government auditors during the
implementation of the grant activities.
