DRAWING OF ENTRIES FOR TD TEST: A drawing will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, March
12, 2015 at the Cyclone Country Kennel Club Training Bldg., 205 East 2nd St., Ames, IA to fill
entry limits. The drawing will be completely random among all entries received and open to the
public. When entries have been drawn, all remaining entries subject to the preference set forth
in the preceding sentence shall be assigned to a position on the alternate list corresponding to
the order in which they were drawn. The test secretary will attempt to notify all entrants of the
results on the draw by phone or e-mail within 24h of the draw. E-mail inquiries are welcome.

Upon notification, alternates shall have the option of accepting or refusing the opportunity to
participate in the test. In the event an accepted entry is absent on the day of the test, the first
alternate entry present according to the order in which they were drawn, as set forth in the
preceding paragraph, shall assume the vacant position.

DRAWING FOR TRACK RUN ORDER: Track order will be drawn by lot at 8:15 a.m. the
morning of the test, with the first track running as soon as conditions permit. All entrants &
alternates must be present at the draw to guarantee their position in the test.

AWARDS: All successful teams who pass will be presented an award to commemorate their
track.
ENTRY FEES:
TD $75.00 (includes $0.50 AKC recording and $3.00 service fee) No entry
fees will be refunded except the entry fee for an entry which pulls before the closing date; or an
entry and/or alternate that does not participate when another alternate is present to replace him
prior to the test draw. Make checks payable to CCKC. Mail to: CCKC, C/O Cheryl Clark, Test

Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Trial Secretary will add a fee to each
returned check. If entering more than one entry, please send a separate check for each entry.
NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED WHICH REQUIRE A SIGNATURE FOR DELIVERY.
CLOSING DATE: Entries for the test close Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 5PM after which time
entries cannot be accepted, canceled, altered, or substituted. Changes, additions or corrections
to entry forms must be received in writing prior to the close of entries. Those received by
telephone are not acceptable.
TD CERTIFICATION: With each TD entry for a licensed or member Tracking Test for a dog
that has not passed an AKC Tracking Test, there must be filed an original written statement,
dated within 12 months of the date of the Tracking test, signed by a person who has been
approved by the American Kennel Club to judge Tracking tests, certifying that the dog is
considered by him/her to be ready for such a test.
ENTRIES: Entries will not be accepted without fees. Faxed, telephone, e-mail and unsigned
entries cannot be accepted. Entries not on an Official AKC form and photocopies of entry forms
without the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry form are not
acceptable. No refund for duplicate entries or errors on entry blanks. Owners are responsible
BITCHES IN SEASON: Tracking Regulation Chapter 2, Section 8 Bitches in season may
participate. The test secretary and judges are to be notified prior to the draw for running order
the day of the test if a bitch entered in the test is in season. The last track(s) laid shall be
reserved for the bitch(es) in season. If there is more than one bitch in season, a second draw
for these bitches will be held.
THE CYCLONE COUNTRY KENNEL CLUB OF AMES, INC. , the trial secretary, trial
committee, etc. assume no responsibility for loss, damage or injury sustained by spectators,
exhibitors, and exhibitor’s property, their dogs and further assumes no responsibility for injury to
children.
ARBITRATION: The Cyclone Country Kennel Club does not agree to arbitrate claims as set
forth on the Official AKC entry form for this event.
THE CLUB may cancel this tracking test in the event of extreme weather conditions.
Coffee, juice and donuts will be available prior to the test draw.

AGREEMENT
I (WE) ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE Rules Applying to Dog Shows and, if this entry is for an obedience trial, the
Obedience Regulations, have been made available to me (us), and that I am (we are) familiar with their contents. I (we)
waive any and all claims, causes of action, I (we) might otherwise have against the AKC and any AKC-approved judge,
judging at this show, under AKC Rules, Regulations and Guidelines. I (we) agree that the club holding this show or
obedience trial has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem to be sufficient. In consideration of
the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of the show or obedience trial and of the opportunity to have the dog
judged and to win prize money, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold this club, its members, directors, governors,
officers, agents, superintendents or show secretary and the owner or lessor of the premises and any employees of the
aforementioned parties, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or
indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or upon the show or obedience trial premises or grounds or
near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we)
further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss of this dog by disappearance, theft,
death, or otherwise, and from any claim for damage or injury to the dog, whether such loss, disappearance, theft, damage
or injury, be caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the club or any of the parties aforementioned, or by the
negligence of any other person, or any other cause or causes.
I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all
loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage
because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself
(ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this show or obedience
trial, howsoever such injuries, death or damage to property may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may
be alleged to have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents, or any other persons.
INSTRUCTIONS
[1] (Variety) If you are entering a dog of a breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular
variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in., over 13 in. but
not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull Terriers (colored, white),
Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim
and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard).
[2] The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record
and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships
are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the
date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.
[3] (Dog Show Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the dog show class in which you are entering your dog is
divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e.,
age division, color division, weight division.
[4] A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registered dog
has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any show for which entries closed after the date
of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his
name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to the AKC. (For complete rules, refer to Chapter 11, Section
3.)
