Hymns for 11:30 Baptism Services
There no restrictions regarding options for hymns, though some are more appropriate than
others. The following hymns are simply to give families a few ideas and/or starting points;
there is no obligation to choose from this selection if another hymn is particularly dear to your
family, or appropriate to the time of year. In general terms, the ‘best’ hymns tend to be the
better known ones (everyone knows the words and tune), and not terribly long. The numbers
refer to the church hymn books (*), or you can get some sterling advice from the organist.
