DESCRIPTION:
COOLANT MX-5 is a premium, synthetic concentrate for a wide range of
metalworking operations including heavy duty machining and grinding. This
product is designed to compliment HIGH PRESSURE DELIVERY SYSTEMS.
COOLANT MX-5 contains lubricity agents, anti-corrosion additives, and other
components that provide extreme pressure properties to satisfy the demands of
high performance or heavy duty machining operations. Excels in machining of
aluminum and aerospace alloys
COOLANT MX-5 is environmentally safe, biodegradable, and stable in hard
water, and readily rejects tramp oil.
COOLANT MX-5 contains no oil and will not leave a gummy residue on machine
or parts.
APPLICATION:
COOLANT MX-5 is recommended for a wide variety of heavy-duty machining and grinding operations, such as;
tapping, drilling, threading, broaching, and other difficult jobs. It will work equally well in either individual
machine sumps or central system applications with CNC type machines or flooded work systems. It can also be
used for surface and centerless grinding.
COOLANT MX-5 is designed for use on ferrous and nonferrous metals, including high nickel alloys, stainless
steels, titanium and other exotic metals. .

COOLANT MX-5 embodies the very latest in synthetic metalworking fluid technology. Coolant MX is a unique,
heavy duty, synthetic coolant specifically designed for operations on hard metals or tough jobs. Containing no
oil it demonstrates distinct advantages over water soluble cutting oils that are traditionally used in heavy-duty
operations, such as: ease of mixing and cleanup, improved solution stability, freedom from odor and rancidity,
heat transfer, and work face visibility.
