Compatible with Automated and Robotic Systems
These microplates are ideal for high throughput screening applications, including drug
discovery and diagnostic research. They feature an 8x12, 96-well format for compatibility
with automated workstations, robotic samplers, cell harvesters, and many microplate
centrifuge rotors. Microplates are alphanumerically labeled for easy sample identification.
Polypropylene microplates are chemical-resistant and able to withstand extreme
temperatures, making them suitable for freezing samples or reagents. Polystyrene plates
are ideal for cell adhesion applications. They can be tightly sealed with polypropylene strip
caps or polyethylene mat lids. Strip caps provide a tight seal on the 0.5mL plates and are
available in strips of eight. Mat lids are available for 0.5, 1.0, or 2.0mL microplates; lids for
the 2.0mL plates are pierceable.
The four-compartment freezing rack (89000-622) holds 52 standard plates or 16 deep well
plates. The six-compartment freezing rack (89000-624) holds 102 standard or 30 deep
well plates.
