The Washington State Angus Auxiliary and Association is pleased to offer scholarships to deserving Junior Angus members. This year we will be offering four (4) $500 scholarships. Graduating seniors and current college/university students are welcome to apply. Applicants must meet the following qualifications: 1. The Applicant must be a current member of the Junior Angus Association or American Angus Association. They must have been a member throughout the year in which they are awarded any scholarship monies. 2. The Applicant must have manifested an interest in Angus projects and be active in the Angus Activities at the time of application. Completed applications must include the following form (please use additional page(s) as needed), an official high school transcript, three (3) letters of recommendation, and a wallet size photo. Additionally members applying for the continuing scholarship must submit a collegiate transcript. The complete application packet must be received by April 1. Applications should be submitted to Jaime Sackmann (3987 Road R.5 SE Warden, WA 98857). All applications will be judged by a scholarship committee made-up of WSAA members. The top placing graduating senior will also be eligible to submit an application to the American Angus Auxiliary for consideration of a National scholarship. Winners will be announced by May 10th. Upon receiving the award applicants must provide the following information in order to receive payment: 1) Address of College/University were payment can be sent 2) Student identification number. 3) Copy of class schedule for the following fall.
