Kriging Simulation in Structural Reliability Analysis Zhang Qi & Li Xingsi State Key Lab. of Structural Analysis for Industrial Equipment, Dalian University of Technology Abstract: Structural system reliability analysis under the condition of limit state function unknown is most important for large and complex structure. A semiparameter interpolate technique, Kriging Simulation (KS), which could avoid the restriction and the influence of different limit state function formulation, could evaluate the structure response with high accuracy. Combined the Kriging Simulation and the optimization method, the reliability index could be solved. The stability and efficiency of this mechod is shown in the example. The Kriging Simulation, which has the advangtae of Response Surface Method (RSM) and Artificial Neural Network (ANN), could be served as a new adaptive structure evaluate system for reliability analysis.
