the subject titled “Quarter Year Application” (ex. Winter 2012 Application) to the Chief RA at
EMRAPChiefRA@gmail.com. All applications must be submitted through a UC Davis e-mail account for verification.
Please do not submit resumes or other supplemental documents. Applications that do not follow instructions will not be
considered.

Internship Requirements/ Qualifications








Must be a registered UC Davis student (exceptions may be made only during the summer)
Cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher recommended, but any strong application with a lower GPA will be considered
Prior healthcare experience recommended but not required
Able to commit minimum two consecutive quarters (though participation during summer is optional, preference
will be given to those that can stay during the summer)
Attend all of the following
o ICC Confirmation Meeting TBA
o If you are a new volunteer for UCDMC, Volunteer Services Orientation: Date/Time TBA at UCD
Med Center Campus
Attend mandatory weekly lectures at the UCD Medical Center (2hrs/wk) Tuesdays 4-6pm
Give one 10 minute presentation on a medically related topic and pass quizzes and a final on research study
protocols and weekly lectures
Work one four-hour shift per week (In addition to mandatory weekly lectures)
