Designs for other products such as T shirts, badges and pens 2) Oversee the visual media production cycle 19 June 2012 10 Plan cycle according to deadlines Liaise with printers and check drafts or samples to ensure Page 2 of 4 Visual media is produced to appropriate quality standard within deadlines Competencies a) Software knowledge such as Photoshop, Flash, Corel Draw, Word, InDesign, animation packages, CSS and web technologies. b) Drawing skills; ability to execute illustrations and infographics c) Design skills; ability to apply layout design to every aspect of the work (Websites, posters, flyers) as well as specific designs such as logos, icons and other graphic elements. d) Animations skills; ability to conceive animation sequences according to educational needs. Storyboarding skills to execute animation technologies. e) Knowledge of photography; Ability to take high quality photographs and apply them to print or online.
