Get all required CME conference (MGR, Tumor Board, Breast Tumor Board
Cardio) paperwork approved and signed
10) Prepare CME reports for hospital physicians upon request (total credits)
11) Create CME folders for each activity and make sure folders are complete with all
require paperwork
12) Create CME certificates
13) Review and edit all CME applications on a yearly basis
GME Job Description
1) Organize and assure current status of all Graduate Medical Education affiliation
agreements and Program letter of agreements
2) Maintain preceptor agreements and resident contracts and update as required
3) Assist in communication with Residency Review Committee (RRC) and
Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
4) Develop calendar for all GME activities
5) Request Data for education and scholarly activities from each residency
programs
6) Schedule, send notices and prepare minutes for monthly GMEC/Resident
Council/Residency Coordinators and Dental meetings
7) Organize Resident Graduation Ceremony and Dinner
8) Coordinate Housestaff Orientation
9) Maintains Resident Housestaff Manual, Policy & Procedures and update as
require
10) Coordinate Institutional Review Site Visits and Internal Reviews for all residency
programs and assist in completing reports (Institutional review documents,
Internal review summary)
11) Assures compliance for all residency programs with New Innovations
12) Assist in coordination of Resident housing
13) Assist in preparation of budget
14) Submit Check Request for department dues and invoices
15) Assist in organizing faculty development lectures
16) Maintain paper files and databases for all internal reviews of GME residencies
17) Assist in preparation of annual report to Medical Executive Committee
18) Keep record of NYCOM/NYIT and St. George students and payments
19) Mail out NYCOM/NYIT evaluations
20) Submit quarterly invoices to St. George
21) Keep files on St. Michael, St Joseph and PM& R Residents (all required
paperwork )
22) Enter PM&R residents into New Innovations
23) IRIS Report (Medicare/Medicaid Cost Report)
24) Oversight of all resident rotations and schedules on a monthly ongoing basis in
New Innovations for all residency programs
25) Obtain documentation for medicare consultants for appropriate billing
26) Prepare documentation for ACGME institutional site visits
