THIS WEEK AT THE MARKET – Meet your friends at the Market this Saturday and
enjoy your breakfast while listening to live music provided by NOUVEAU STRING
BAND (aka Tim Avalon & Friends). Then shop around for fresh organic produce, along
with incredible gourmet food specialties and handcrafted items. Buy direct from the
producers themselves. You will also find BarBQ, baked breads and desserts, jewelry, art
and more. The Market booth features free coffee each week, compliments of HENRY
LaROSE REALTORS.
JACKSON FRIENDS OF THE ANIMAL SHELTER – stop by this week and visit
with the adorable furry friends who are waiting for you to take them home.
DEBI COX will be at the Market this Saturday with her beautiful crystal jewelry, unique
"design your own" watches, and, of course, those adorable cell phone charms. Stop by
for that perfect gift or maybe just something special just for you.
FLYING M FARM will have A La Carte limited offerings of certified organic fresh
vegetables. Stop by and visit with Charlie about Flying M Farm's CSA (Community
Supported Agriculture) and about his grassfed beef and lamb. You may email Charlie at

FLOURS BY CHRIS will be at the Market this week with her delicious home baked
specialties – a variety of breads, rolls and cakes.
WELLSFEST – stop by for information about this 25th annual music festival to be held
on September 27, at Jamie Fowler Boyll Park on Lakeland Drive next to Smith-Wills
Stadium – great music line-up, 5k run, silent auction, coffee house and other food items,
children’s activities. This year’s beneficiary is New Life for Women. Preview art
auction items September 16 at the Mississippi Crafts Center from 6-8pm.
CHINQUAPIN FARM will have grape tomatoes, yellow pear tomatoes, slicing and
pickling cucumbers, patty pan squash, eggplant. Pecan Smoked Pulled Pork Tamales,
Chicken black bean tomatillo tomato tamales, and Asparagus Vegetarian Tamales all
served with Roasted Garlic Cheese Grits with fresh salsa. Also, pulled pork by the pound
and possibly jumbo boiled peanuts.
WILD JASMINE will be on hand this weekend and offering their fabulous PAD THAI!!
Stop by for a visit and watch them in action with the fabulous WOK - Check out what
other surprises they have in store for you this week – like awesome peach and chocolate
soy ice cream – YUM and perfect for a hot summer day!
STUFFINGS will be back this week with a new offering – Crawfish sausage on a stick!
Check out his weekly special featuring one of his delicious Stuffed French Breads. Be
sure and stop by for a sample. Paul will also have his New Orleans style red beans along
with his tasty sweet breads and Italian twist breads. His varied selection of frozen breads
include: spinach and cheese, muffaloaf, crawfish, and shrimp. He also sells his crawfish
sausage packaged for your freezer. His Cinnamon Coffee Cake, Date Nut Cake and
Diabetic Date Nut Cake are awesome!
MOOZART, a member of the Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi, will be back with
Molly’s incredible mixed media stained glass art – wind chimes, fan pulls, abstract faces
and more. Be sure and see her newly designed stained glass frogs. They are enchanting!
CLEO ROGERS will be on hand this week with her famous caramel cakes, pies,
cupcakes and her unique salsa. Stop by for a chat with Cleo – she loves to share samples
of her delicious baked goods and salsa!
LUMPKIN’S will return to the Market featuring their awesome hickory smoked BarBQ
beef brisket by the pound or on a sandwich. Their Pork Ribs are incredible, too! Stop by
for a sample and a visit with this charming family.
ELIZABETH ROOT will be back at the Market this Saturday and will be bringing her
ever popular ginger chewies, one bite and you'll be hooked if you aren't already. And of
course a variety of her delicious hearth 100% whole grain breads. For more information

JEON ONES AUSTIN will be back at the Market this week with his wonderful
Caribbean and Haitian artwork.
HENRY MUSE will attend this Saturday, and will bring his colorful paintings of Cats,
Birds, Musical Pieces, Couples and Angels. Folks may contact him at his in-home studio

BANKSTON GLASSWORKS will be back at the Market this Saturday. The will have
handmade glass pendants, rings, marbles, and some beautiful new necklaces featuring
glass pendants along with semi-precious stones and pearls in vibrant colors
EARCINE EVANS OF FRANCIS FLOWERS & HERBS FARM will be back and
will be bringing her Handmade Organic; Biodynamic Wild crafted Hair & Skin Care
Products.
CHARLES JENKINS will return with his whimsical art work. Charley is a noted
southern realism artist of line and color with a focus on pastels, watercolors and colored
wax pencils. This week, he will be bringing his white oak baskets and famous dancing
rabbits and turtles.
THE BIRDHOUSE MAN will be at the Market Saturday. Bill will be bringing his
usual birdhouse condo's and some new designs as well.
