HALLKEEN MANAGEMENT Internal job Posting Job Title: Resident Liaison Location: Power Town Apartments, Turners Falls, MA Hours: Full-time Job Description: Under the supervision of the Maintenance Superintendent and/or the Property Manager, the Resident Liaison (which is a temporary position) provides building and unit access to authorized contractors and vendors during a construction period and provides a reasonable level of security and monitoring when access is provided to residentially occupied premises’. Duties and Responsibilities Under the direction of the Maintenance Superintendent and/or Property Manager: Work with residents who require relocation to perform renovations and coordinate access to a “hotel unit” on site for temporary housing. Provide appropriate notice to residents of all renovation activities in their apartment, and work with Resident Service Coordinator, pest control and movers to assure any necessary services are arranged to help residents prepare their apartment for renovation. Perform all access and oversight related services as directed. Continually monitor contractor activities in the building, in particular in occupied dwelling units. Note any concerns, and take necessary action of notifying Maintenance Superintendent or Property Manager if any concerns arise. Notify Maintenance Superintendent or Property Manager of any building maintenance deficiencies or safety concerns observed while on duty, whether related to the construction project or otherwise. Continuously assist in supervision of all outside contractors working on the property as necessary. Have knowledge of or seek information pertaining to the locations of meter cutoffs, water supply shutoffs, and sewer cleanouts as job requirements may necessitate. From a layman’s perspective, help ensure that safe worksite practices are being followed by all contractors working on site and report all possible concerns or infractions to Maintenance Superintendents or Property Manager. Be available, willing, and able to provide access to multiple contractors at multiple locations in the building as may be needed, while rotating back and forth as needed to ensure a contractor’s access needs are met and a reasonable degree of security and monitoring is provided. Assist with any other assigned and site-specific duties per the request of the Maintenance Superintendent and/or Property Manager.
