C. Distribution of Coursework Credits from Section A and Section B to Coursework Requirements
Use the tables below to distribute which courses from Section A (graduate coursework transfer) and Section B
(doctoral coursework) are to be considered as meeting the four coursework requirements: tool courses (C1);
specialization courses (C2); elective courses (C3); and minor/cognate courses (C4).
The four tables include both graduate coursework transfer credits and doctoral coursework credits, and their sum
total (not counting any transfer tool courses) must be minimum 60 credits.
C1. Tool Courses (minimum 5 courses required) Two graduate coursework transfer courses may count toward
satisfying the tool requirement, but the credits for these two courses will not count toward the 60 coursework credits
required for the doctoral degree; put these courses in the first two rows in parenthesis with a ‘dash’ for credits.
