Volvo Europe and Continental Truck Tires:
Supply agreement extended
Hanover, April 2010. Commercial vehicle manufacturer Volvo Group Europe and Continental Truck Tires have extended their long-standing agreement for the supply of
tires by three years to 2012.
Continental will remain original equipment supplier for commercial vehicles from all Volvo
Group Europe brands. The agreement for the years 2010 to 2012 has now been signed. In
future, customers will still not have to pay extra to have their vehicles equipped with Continental tires. “This is an excellent basis for further increasing our market share among Volvo
Group and further expanding our strong position in European original equipment business,”
says a delighted Markus Junk, Global Key Account Manager OE/Truck Tires at Continental
Commercial Vehicle Tires.
