Cap & Gown
Q. When and how do I hire my cap & gown?
A. Robes can only be hired from Ede & Ravenscroft. All students must be dressed in the correct
academic wear to cross the stage. If you have not pre-booked robes you can pay in cash on the day.
We advise students bring £65 (cash only) and Ede & Ravenscroft will bring additional caps and gowns

Q. Will I be shown how to wear the cap & gown properly?
A. Ede & Ravenscroft staff will be on hand in the Park Inn Hotel to assist graduands and ensure they
are dressed correctly. For comfort and practicality it is recommended that you wear a shirt or blouse
as this makes it easier to attach the hood over your gown. You may like to bring hair clips to secure
