Conversion of 21 courses taken by clinical
laboratory science (CLS) interns to a single
course “BIOM 498 (MICB 490) Medical
Technology Internship” (a course already listed
in the 2011-2012 catalog) will: 1) make it easier
for a student to register for the CLS internship
over the three semesters of the internship, 2)
facilitate assignment of grades by the advisor
(Minnick), and 3) will provide more uniformity
of course titles between the three CLS affiliates
(Montana State University, Health One
(Denver, CO) and Sacred Heart Hospital
(Spokane, WA).
