International Journal of Human Ecology
International Journal of Human Ecology (IJHE) is an international journal for areas in
Human Ecology. The purpose of the journal is to develop the theories and practices in various
fields in Human Ecology. Also excellent researches in Human Ecology are exchanged among
members all over the world. The field of Human Ecology is more advanced through this
journal.
Guidelines for Authors
Manuscripts may be published as research articles, research notes, and review
articles. Research articles and research notes are submitted voluntarily, while review article
can be submitted only when solicited by the editor. All manuscripts submitted for publication
are subject to editorial review and revision. Accepted manuscripts become the property of the
association and authors. The Journal is issued twice in a year, June 30 and December 31.
The deadline for call for papers is February 28 for June edition and August 31 for December
edition.
Submission of Manuscripts
1. Submit three copies of the manuscript and attached file by e-mail to Editor in Microsoft
Word written in English. Review fee must accompany the manuscript.
2. A separate title page should be attached to the copies. This page should include the
title of the paper, name & title of all authors, date of submit, with/without abstract,
with/without keywords, the number of keywords, address, phone and e-mail of the
corresponding author.
3. First author and corresponding author should be indicated. Abstract, not exceeding
250 words and 3-7 keywords should be included.
4. Research articles include, Introduction, Subjects (or Materials) and Methods, Results,
Discussion, Conclusion and References. Results and Discussion sections may be
combined in one section if authors prefer to.
5. The typical articles are about twenty-page long, double-spaced, 11 point.
Review Information
1. Manuscripts submitted to IJHE are blind peer reviewed by two reviewers selected by
Editor Board. Accepted papers are edited by English Editors.
2. Manuscript cannot be returned.
3. The paper shall not be submitted elsewhere while under IJHE review.
