INDUSTRIAL ZONE A. Purpose The purpose of the Industrial zone is to integrate the trail into existing and future industrial businesses and provide access to the Columbia River by trail users. Amenities will be located to encourage employees of the industrial businesses to commute to work and provide opportunities for those who want to enjoy the proximity to the Columbia River. Colors, forms and textures of amenities will suit the specific context within which they are sited. B. Location Beginning on the northwestern edge of The Dalles Urban Growth Boundary at Taylor Lakes and ending on the eastern side of the Cherry Growers plant just west of Rock Fort.
