Meet with visiting college representatives at Stevenson. Dates and times are posted in Naviance. 1) Sign-up in Naviance. 2)

Print the sign-up confirmation page. 3) Put your ID# on the page. 4) Have the pass signed by your classroom teacher at least 2 days PRIOR to the visit and bring the signed page to the College/Career Center on the day of the visit.

Register online for the ACT at act.org and for the SAT at collegeboard.org/testing. Visit the ACT web site to determine which colleges require the ACT with writing. Both websites offer free practice test questions.

Investigate CEO (Career Exploration Opportunity) programs. Information is located on the SHS CCC web page.

Consider visiting colleges . Call or e-mail the Office of Admissions to arrange a visit.

Sept. 26 - National College Fair, 11:00-3:00 at Navy Pier in Chicago (Saturday)

Oct. 8 – Meet with counselors during Activity Period

Oct. 14 - PSAT at SHS. Students planning to take the SAT should consider taking the PSAT . Scores also used for National

Merit Scholarship eligibility (approximately top 1% qualify).

Oct. 21 - CHOICES , Niles North High School. Special Education Post-Secondary Planning Night. Area-wide event for special education students and their families.

Oct. 21 - “Finding the Fit” for junior families, 7 pm, Performing Arts Center.

This signature program highlights the entire college selection process.

Oct. 22 – Illinois Regional College Fair 6-8 pm at College of Lake County Grayslake

Meet with counselors during activity period to review course selection procedures for senior year courses.

Meet with counselors through English classes to select courses for the 2016-17 school year.

“Narrowing Your Options” information mailed to junior families. NYO ’s are thirty-minute college counseling appointments with a Stevenson college counselor that run February through June.

Jan. 6 - Financial Aid Information Night 7 pm, Performing Arts Center.

Feb. 2 - Junior Parent Evening. A question and answer session for parents only. 7:00pm – Performing Arts Center

Feb. 6 - ACT at SHS.

Mar. 15 – ACT + Writing administration to all juniors at SHS

Mar. 15 – Illinois Regional College Fair 6 - 8 pm, College of Lake County Grayslake.

College Focus Seminars. Meeting in the CCC during Junior math classes with SHS college counselor and college rep.

May 7 - SAT at SHS.

May 2 to 13 th - Advanced Placement Exams at SHS.

Click on Link to Naviance (left rail) to access log-on portal.

3.

Student log-on: 1 st initial of first name + 1 st six letters of last name + last digit of grad year + @students.d125.org

(For example, Steven Patriot (Class of 2017) = spatrio7@students.d125.org)

4.

Password is your 8-digit SHS network password.

5. Parent log-on: Click on “I’m a guest”. Next screen…“Enter as guest”.

Infinite Campus & Academic Planning

1.

Log on to www.d125.org

2.

Click on the Infinite Campus icon.

3.

Using your Stevenson network ID and 8 digit password, log on to Infinite Campus.

4.

On the left side of the page, click on Academic Planning.

5.

The color green means the requirement has been fulfilled.

6.

The color red means the requirement still needs to be taken.

7.

The color yellow means “overflow” classes. Many times these are electives.
