PhD Scholarship
Cellular Biology and Immunotherapy/Translational Research
The EnGeneIC Cancer Research Foundation (ECRF) was formed following a breakthrough by EnGeneIC founders who developed the world's first nanocell called the EDV TM nanocell. This nanocell can be loaded with different chemotherapeutics and targeted straight to cancer cells to deliver its payload, thereby eliminating side effects associated with normal chemotherapy. The Foundation is committed to challenging existing approaches to treating cancer and to encouraging the development of therapies that are tailored to the individual rather than being standardised across patients.
The ECRF is pleased to offer, in co-ordination with the University of Sydney, a PhD scholarship to a skilled and motivated researcher to join our multi-disciplinary research team. We are seeking applications from outstanding science/biotechnology graduates who are interested in pursuing a career in cellular biology and immunotherapy, particularly related to oncology. The role involves an interdisciplinary research project elucidating the immunological aspects initiated by EnGeneIC’s EDV TM nanocell. This project will provide an opportunity to learn varied techniques in cell biology, histopathology and immunology.
